This video, from Gizmodo, shows you some of the production process for the Manfrotto tripods.  It’s pretty cool if you’re interested in photography equipment.

Well it looks like Mamiya has come out with a digital solution for those of us who aren’t rich enough to drop $30K for the Hassy system. Here is an article on Gizmodo about the 22 Megapixel camera for under $10K.  Still too rich for my blood, but they’re getting into the section of the neighborhood that I might drive through some day. :)

A few weeks ago, Taryn and I got a hammock for the back yard.  I have to say that I love our hammock and consider it a mandatory addition to any home.  What I hadn’t seen yet, though, was this video about how to make your own hammock with some rope and cloth.  Now that I’ve seen it, I *must* try it.  I’ll be rooting around our house for the supplies this weekend! :)

Fortune Cookies are one of my favorite things about eating at an Asian Restaurant, and I have a tradition of always taking the last cookie.  That has resulted in few great fortunes over the years.  Now I found this site, which creates fortunes for you on the fly, or allows you to create them and send them to friends.  Pretty cool!
